Please share the this quiz sheet far and wide – It is fundraiser for St. Finian’s Church Newcastle-Lyons, the smallest of our three churches in this parish but also the oldest by many multiples, dating back to 1200AD when the square tower was constructed. A standing cross in the graveyard is thought to be even older, dating to the 7th Century. Maintaining this historic place of worship and national heritage which is listed as a National Monument is a heavy burden on a small congregation and fundraising is vital in helping us ensure that this beautiful church will be there for many generations to come.
