Harvest Thanksgiving 2018

Noirin has worked for many years in parochial and diocesan settings and is a very accomplished traditional singer and musician.
Christ Church Celbridge - Sunday 21st October @3pm - Speaker: Patsy McGarry, Religious Affairs Correspondent of the Irish Times and a regular commentator on religious and social issues in the broadcast and print media. Patsy is also the author of a number of books including 'The Book of Jesus Report, a contemporary account of the four Gospels' and the official biography of President Mary McAleese, entitled 'First Citizen: Mary McAleese and the Irish Presidency'
Straffan Church - Sunday 28th October @3.30pm - Rev'd Terry Mitchell (Rector of Cloughjordan & Borrisokane Group of Parishes, Diocese of Limerick & Killaloe). Terry who is South African came to Ireland from the Diocese of Capetown in South Africa, where he was Rector of Christ Church,Grahamstown. Born in Pietermaritzburg he initially trained as a teacher, and taught English and History as well as Guidance Councillor. He was first ordained for the Methodist Church, serving in Grahamstown and in Northern Ireland before being ordained as an Anglican priest on his return to South Africa.
